Welcome to the T.C. Williams Debate Society

The T.C. Williams Debate Society supports the T.C. Williams High School Debate Team.  The Debate Team participates in the Virginia Forensic League, Virginia High School League, and (starting in 09-10) the Washington-Arlington Catholic Forensic League.  The Debate Team also participates in a number of invitational and regional debate tournaments in the Mid-Atlantic region. 

The Debate Team participates in two kinds of debate: Lincoln-Douglas Debate, named after the famous series of debates that pitted a young Abraham Lincoln against Stephen Douglas and Policy Debate (CX or Cross Examination Debate).

Debate practices are every Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, in Room B228.
